21-06-11 - Oando PLC, a major player in Nigeria's energy sector has announced that it is seeking young dynamic and talented graduates for its Oando Graduate Trainee Programme (GTP). Oando’s GTP opportunity is in line with the growing trend of organizations offering young graduates learning and working opportunities for a specific period of time. .

In the previous GTP announcements Oando uses the slogan “Developing tomorrow's leaders ....today” to describe its GTP programme. The way the programme is described Oando aims to build these young

Again as is the norm with Graduate Trainee Programmes, only candidates
who do well and meet Oando’s standards during the inhouse training
program designed for the GTP will be offered permanent positions within
the company.

The trainee learns and contributes while the organization provides fixed period work experience. In addition candidates that do well during the GTP period have the opportunity to secure full time employment with Oando.
It's a "from the ground up" for young, ambitious and talented graduates. Minimum academic requirement is Bachelor or Masters Degree with minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2.1). It will obviously be quite competitive.
