Nigerian Machine Tools Graduate Jobs in Nigeria

18 Nov 2010 - Interested in working in Nigeria's machine tool industry? A recent announcement indicated a need for individuals to fill graduate and other positions in the Nigerian Machine Tools (NMT), Oshogbo, Osun State. The need for local manufacture of machine tools for fabricating metal components of machines led to the establishment of the Nigerian Machine tools. Though NMT has gone through some downtimes. It appears things are picking up. The machine tools industry is quite capable of creating a significant number of jobs locally and saving scarce foreign exchange that Nigeria presently spends in this sector.

Nigerian Machine Tools, originally owned by Nigeria, is one of the organizations privatized by the Nigerian government.   According to the release, the job recruitment is being carried out on behalf of the holding company of the Nigerian machine tools, Oshogbo in Osun state. Quite a number of publicly owned organizations have been privatized.

Despite fears entertained by Nigerians and concerns about the way the Nigerian privatization process has been handled, the announcement claims that   NMT Oshogbo has been strategically reorganized, recapitalized and restructured to meet the original objectives of its establishment.

When Machine Tools plays it's intended role it will be a support industry that provides core services to the critical sectors of the economy such as oil and gas, agriculture and the manufacturing.

See setbacks as part of the cost of searching for opportunity. Stay at your positive high energy level and think beyond yourself. Appreciate that others will see things different from you. The earlier you learn that everything is not about you, the sooner you'll bounce back after disappointment.
