The Nigerian Institute of Mining and Geosciences, Jos was established by the Federal Government as a Centre of Excellence for professional training and research in all aspects of Mining and the Geosciences.

Candidates must possess a Masters degree or a Bachelors degree not below
second class upper in the relevant fields. They must also show strong
